Our Team

Dave Worden

Dave Worden started playing golf in 1983 at age 24. Dealing with many sports-related injuries, his doctors encouraged him to pick up golf instead of playing more physical sports. He became fascinated by the game and equipment, and built his first set of golf clubs a year later. Dave's intro to the golf business began by regripping clubs as a side job, and he built it into a small seasonal business. Once the winter season rolled around, he began to sit around as most golfers do. This is when he decided to make a change.

In 1992, Dave opened the doors to Dave's Golf Shop in Middletown, New York. The business began as a normal golf pro shop, performing various services ranging from regripping and reshafting clubs to more complex services such as full club building. In 1997, Dave installed 2 DeadSolid Golf Simulators, giving patrons the ability to play many PGA courses and gain insightful information into their golf game such as swing speed, club head angle, swing path, and more. Almost 20 years later, Dave is still thriving in Middletown, becoming a hot spot for local golfers on rainy days during the golf season as well as during the winter offseason.
